About Us
SONGOZWI OPENCAST MINING AND LOGISTICS (PTY) Ltd is a registered mining company that specializes in Contract Mining & Rehabilitation: Both Opencast and Underground Mining; Plant Hire; Crushing and Screening; and Logistic services. We are also considering owning our earthmoving equipment and transporting logistic trucks of dry bulk commodities such as Coal; Chrome; Iron ore; Manganese; Copper; Lime; Cement, and many others.
Our company is a 100% Black Owned SME affording investors and/or sponsors valuable points towards the B-BBEE scorecards and even the possibility of Corporate Social Investments (CSI) points.

CORE BUSINESS DIVISIONS
SONGOZWI OPENCAST MINING AND LOGISTICS (PTY) Ltd Company operates in various sectors within the mining industry. All our operations are based in South Africa and will be managed from our head offices in Limpopo Province, and we plan to open branch offices countrywide.
CONTRACT MINING DIVISION: OPENCAST and UNDERGROUND.
EARTHWORKS MACHINERY
We have significant commercial partnerships with mining and construction OEMs, allowing us to start our projects with new equipment and spend less time on breakdowns, which improves operating efficiency.
We additionally collaborated with small fleet owners to deliver dry bulk mining commodities to various ports and Power Stations throughout South Africa.
ON-MINING LOGISTICS DIVISION
SONGOZWI OPENCAST MINING & LOGISTICS (PTY) Ltd offers specialised transport logistics for dry bulk commodities, including coal, chrome, iron ore, and lime.
Our On-Mining Logistics Service includes:
- Material Handling: Loading and hauling crushed materials to stockyards.
- Trains & Heavy-Duty Trucks Loading: Efficient cargo handling for various transport needs.
We prioritize Safety, Health, and Environmental standards while adhering to National Road Traffic Act regulations. Our drivers are professionally trained with valid PrDP licenses.
CRUSHING & SCREENING DIVISION
At Songozwi crushing and screening, we pride ourselves on producing and rendering quality services to suit our client’s needs without compromising quality production and reliable service delivery.
Our crushing and screening division offers both in-pit and surface crushing and screening services. Our services include single-stage mobile crushing, two-stage, and multi-stage crushing and screening.
We offer cost-effective mobile and fixed plant crushing and screening with reduced CO2 and dust emissions.
